{"id":71,"date":"2007-05-27T15:58:30","date_gmt":"2007-05-27T15:58:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.marcelbooth.co.uk\/2007\/05\/27\/ferry-across-the-mersey\/"},"modified":"2013-02-07T15:55:08","modified_gmt":"2013-02-07T15:55:08","slug":"ferry-across-the-mersey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.marcelbooth.co.uk\/photoblog\/2007\/05\/27\/ferry-across-the-mersey\/","title":{"rendered":"Ferry across the Mersey"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src='http:\/\/www.marcelbooth.co.uk\/photoblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/05\/070526_4397.jpg' alt='070526_4397.jpg' \/><\/p>\n<p>Yesterday was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shootexperience.com\/events\/info\/8\">Shoot Liverpool<\/a>, a &#8220;photographic treasure hunt&#8221;. You had to choose a team of two to four people, pay \u00c2\u00a310 each to the Tate Liverpool, where the event was hosted, and turn up at 11am with your camera, and a clear head.<br \/>\nWe were then given 10 clues, 6 &#8220;fixed&#8221; clues, and 4 that were open to interpretation. The answers to the fixed clues were various structures or locations around Liverpool. The answers had to be in the form of a photograph, the more imaginative, creative and well exectued, the better.<br \/>\nWell, myself, two members from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.talkphotography.co.uk\/forums\/\">forums<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vanilladays.com\/\">Pete Carr<\/a>, Jimmy_Lemon, and <a href=\"http:\/\/djcdesign.co.uk\/\">David J Colbran<\/a>, teamed up to form, our brilliantly titled <strong>&#8220;The A-Team&#8221;<\/strong> (Thanks Pete).<br \/>\nAfter being given our clues, we spent the next 5 hours, getting wet, exhausted, thirsty and hungry as we ran around Liverpool, working together to get our 10 &#8220;Answers&#8221; together, answers that were funny, imaginitive, creative, and just as importantly, er, correct.<\/p>\n<p>One of the clues was <em>&#8220;The subject of this song may get your heart racing if this land&#8217;s the place you love.&#8221;<\/em>. The answer of course being the <em>&#8220;Ferry across the Mersey&#8221;<\/em>.
