This was taken at Fort Perch Rock in New Brighton.
Above the horizon you can see the mass development at Seaforth Docks in the distance, hence the old and new.
Looking back at the shot now, I can see how I should have taken it differently (given more of a view to the distant development perhaps).
Something to thing of when I return.
