My step-father has recently inherited a family bible, which dates back to the 1800′s. I popped along recently to see if I could take some creative photos of it. The actual bible weighs a good few kilos, and is a fair size too, about 6 inches thick, encased in a complete hard cover, with protective metal covering the corners.
This is just an extract from one of the pages, using a narrow DOF to highlight the following passage :
Bless the Lord, O my soul, O Lord my God, though art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty :
Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment; who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain.
