Taken from Crosby beach, when Pete Carr, Tom Holmes, and I went to see some of our Shoot Liverpool shots at the exhibition. Afterwards, we whizzed up to Crosby beach to see the Antony Gormley statues, and were greeted with a fleeting glimpse of a rather pretty sunset.
My wife also came with us, but as she was suffering from a broken toe, she stayed in the car, and watched us from a distance…..

Rog, the lens was actually the Canon EF-S 18-55. The ‘kit lens’. I’ll admit to a little cropping. I did leave a slither of ground in the original shot, but decided afterwards it just distracted from the sky.
