I promise, this is the penultimate shot from New Brighton (I think).
I was actually going to post something different today, but due to a thread resurrection about fake model photography, I decided to try my hand. Unfortunately, I have resolved not to ‘dip the archives’ and post shots from last year, so I was a little short on material to try this technique on.
Out of my processed, but unseen shots, I think this was the only one who had a chance of lending itself to this style.

I do fully intend to shoot another scene in the future, with this fake model photography in mind, but until then I’ll have to make do with this. However, the more I look at this shot, the less I like it. But then again, I do tend to be quite critical of my own work. Justifiably so, or not….you decide.

As a side note, it seems today, a very popular Flickr photographer, _rebekka, has had some of her photos stolen, and sold on ebay as canvas prints. It seems there is a large internet storm brewing, and many (read : probably all) of her fans are not happy about it. And rightly so. We photographers should be able to show our work to other people without all and sundry coming along and making a fast buck from it. A thread has been posted on the forums, discussing the situation.
