I took this a few weeks ago. I had just gotten my camera out to take a photo of my daughters new haircut and it turned into an impromptu ‘modelling session’.
She really enjoyed it, striking all her poses, and pretending she was a big fashion model. She certainly has the beauty and the looks to be one!
I processed it using method used by Rob from the forums (Arkady), which involved some desaturation, mixing, duotoning etc.
I do have some niggles with this shot itself (the skirting being quite distracting), and the dress missing off her shoulder, but all in all, I think this turned out a nice shot.
Also a way to try my hand at this ‘new’ technique 🙂

It’s not a method I read online, it was told to me by a fellow member of Talk Photography.
Basically it involved copying the image, desaturating the copy, then duotoning it.
Then copying the duotoned image back to the original as a separate layer, and blending them.
