And by ‘eck it was!
This was taken on a recent trip around the Yorkshire Dales with Tom Holmes (www.liveoopnorth.co.uk).
After a brief and brisk walk, with absolutely no moaning about the incoming hailstone and wind at all (honest!), we stopped here to photograph this tree set in this beautiful landscape.
I’m not sure I’ve done the location justice. The light itself was lovely, but harsh. It would have been a little better with some golden-hour light bathing it, but timing was not our friend that day.
Still, I’m pleased with some of the shots I came away with. Watch this space for a few more.
